I WAS SAD TO HEAR OF MRS. DAMEWOOD'S PASSING. I WAS A STUDENT HELPER IN THE LIBRARY @ MAC IN 1985. SHE WAS ALWAYS SUCH A SWEET PERSON & I REMEMBER HER WELL. SHE WAS A PETITE LADY WHO LOVED TO KEEP US BUSEY.I LEARNED TO FILE BOOKS VERY QUICKLY & STILL MANAGE TO SPEND TIME IN A LIBRARY AS WELL AS READ ALOT. AGAIN MY PRAYERS ARE W/ YOUR FAMILY

I graduated from MacArthur in 1981. I remember Mrs. Damewood as a very, sweet lady who know exactly where to find any information in the Mac library. I believe she retired prior to the old campus being torn down. It was the end of an era. Now I have found out she passed away last year. I live in Florida now so I guess I have missed a lot of the old news. God bless Mrs. Damewood, you will be remembered!

Dear Logan, I am so sorry to hear about Eleanor. She was a wonderful, funny person, and a damn good librarian. She will be missed but remembered fondly.

I was class of 1983 and remember Mrs Damewood as always being kind and helpful. It's hard to believe 20 plus years have past. To her family, I am sorry for your loss.
