Margaret A. Campbell, 63, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Verlin Campbell; son, Michael Blair; and her special cat, Miss Kitty.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Alverson and husband, Tim, and Jennifer Alvis and husband, Terry; sons, Eddie Campbell and wife, Rebecca, and James Blair; grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Bowen, Mardy, Jr., Maranda, Eric, Melanie Roberts, Eddie Jr., Zackary, Alicia Campbell, Nikki Blair, James and Mikey Blair, and Brenson Burke; great-grandchildren, Aiden Roberts, Mardy Roberts, III, and Jacob Bowen; several sisters and brothers-in-law, and brothers and sisters-in-law; very special sister, Lisa Rose; and very special friend Cheryl Nichol.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport. Services will follow at 3:00, with Dr. Cecil Sturgill officiating. Music will be provided by David and Mildred Hilton.
Interment will follow at Bellamy Cemetery in Hawkins County. The grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
