Edna Lokiel Crawford Light, 84, of Kingsport passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Edna was born and lived her entire life in Sullivan County. She was a member of Solomon's Temple Missionary Baptist Church. Edna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by one son Donald "Donnie" Light, Jr.; parents David "Tobe" and Bonnie (Patterson) Crawford; one brother Ross Crawford; three sisters, Mae Morelock, Faye Lamb and Linda McAmis; and son-in-law David Dolen, Sr.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years Donal "Cooper" Light; two daughters, Judy Dolen of Kingsport and Vickie Hubbard and husband, Dee of Fall Branch; four grandchildren, David Dolen, Jr. and wife, Sherry of Kingsport, Lynn Hubbard, Amy Rose and husband, Duane, and Brad Hubbard, all of Fall Branch; eight great-grandchildren, Cody, Jessie, Bonnie Kate, Cierra, Devin, Justin, Brittanie and Kayla; eight sisters, Lora Morelock, Hazel "Toots" Bragg, Ruth Wallen and husband, Ken, Thelma Whetsel, Darlene Morelock and husband, Roscoe, Opal Taylor, Kathy Dolen and husband Roy, and Sue Dolen and husband Tim, all of Kingsport.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 pm on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch Chapel and anytime at the home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Sunday at Solomon's Temple Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. John Crawford, the Bro. Danny Dolen and Honorary Minister Rev. Orville Dolen presiding. Burial will follow at the Light Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bragg, Jeff Wallen, Allen Morelock, Dallas Morelock, Andy Lamb, Mickey Taylor, Mike Morelock, Todd Dolen and Butch Morelock.

A special thank you goes out to Diane Bays and the staff of Amedisys Hospice for the care shown to our mother during her illness.
