Kathleen T. (Hughes) Brannon, age 99, of Cranston Street, Cranston, was welcomed into heaven on Sunday, June 25, 2017 by many who were patiently awaiting her arrival: her parents, Catherine and William Hughes, her beloved husband Joe, son Dennis, sister Dorothy Kelly, brothers William and Edward Hughes (wife Helen), along with numerous other family members and friends.

Kathleen was a woman of great faith, fierce loyalty and undying love. She taught the values of family and friendship.

She was the mother of: Patrick (Regina), (children: Patrick, Karen McGlynn, Tara Bogs); Kathleen Perry (John), (children: Kenneth, Robert Harty); the late Dennis (Lynn), (children: Dennis, Lindsey, Bethany, Dylan); and Kevin, (children: Jaclyn, Byron).

She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren: Madeline, Kaitlin, Annaliese, Caroline, Kieran, Declan, Ava, Allison, Ronin, Avery and Connell; sister-in-law Loretta Hughes; brother-in-law Thomas Kelly; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kathleen was employed for many years at Bulova Watch Co. in Providence. She was a graduate of St. Xavier Academy, and an active member of St. Ann's Women's Club.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 1, at 9 a.m. in St. George Church (formerly St. Ann Church), 1493 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. George Church Building Fund or your favorite charity.
