Williamson, Donald J., Sr., 62, passed away Sunday March 7 2010 at Norton Audubon Hospital.
He was retired from Philip Morris were he worked for 28 yrs., and was an employee with Schmitt Florist. He was a devoted catholic, a member of St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church, the Eagles A.C., an army veteran of Viet Nam., and a member of the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Leonard Williamson, Sr., a grandson, Zackary Massey, and a brother-in-law, Ronald A. Schulte.
He is survived by his wife of 40 yrs, Theresa Smith Williamson; 1 daughter, Julie Massey (David); 1 son, Joe Williamson (Missy); his mother, Hazel Antionette Williamson; 1 brother, William Leonard Williamson, Jr. (Paula); 3 sisters, Norma Schulte, Marie Diane Stivers (Kenny); Linda Williamson; 4 grandchildren, Alexus, Taylor, Drew Massey, and Evan Williamson. And a special thanks to all the Eagles who have been a big part of Donald's life.
His funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ignatius Church, 1816 Rangeland Rd., with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m.
Tuesday, at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Rd.
Memorial contributions may be given to his church.
