Lottie Mary Canellas, 94, of Weirton died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at the Weirton Medical Center.
Born April 2, 1917, in Fairpoint, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Walter and Valerie (Michalak) Rosiak. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Celso Vazquez Canellas, sisters, Stella O'Sullivan and Anna Alboszta, brothers Joseph, Frank, and Bruno Rosiak, daughter-in-law, Penny Mankowski and son-in-law Ivin Rine.
Lottie was a member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Weirton, WV and was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers, as well as picking mushrooms and berries. Lottie was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her sons, Fred Mankowski and Frank Canellas both of Weirton, WV; her daughters, Theresa Rine and Bernice (Gilbert) Krovocheck both of Weirton, WV and Susan (Michael) Fabian of Grove City, OH; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 6th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home 3219 Main St. Weirton, WV where funeral liturgy of the word will be held on Wednesday, March 7th at 11:00 A.M. with the Reverend Father Dean Borgmeyer officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton, WV.
