MEIXSEL, Mary E. Topp, 94, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010.
She was the former Mary E. Rueff, a retired key punch operator for American Standard, a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church and Queen’s Daughters.
Preceding her in death were her husbands, William Jennings Topp and Clarence J. Meixsel, a grandson, Mark E. Buchter and a sister, Eleanor Pfaadt.
Survivors include her children, Charles D. Topp (Norma), Margaret Mary Buchter and Dr. James T. Topp (Joan); her step children, Lawrence D. Meixsel and Kathleen Meyer; grandchildren, Bruce D. Topp, Dr. Deborah Rodighiero, C. Michael Topp, Karen Miles, Pamela Amshoff, David Topp and Evan Topp as well as nine great grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 A.M. Saturday, February 6, 2010 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church, 5915 Outer Loop with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 – 8 P.M. Friday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mass of the Air or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her memory.
