RAQUE, JEROME P., SR., 84, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010 at home.
He was a retired employee of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, former Post Commander of the Highland American Legion Post #201, a Marine veteran of WWII, and a member of the Bonnycastle Club.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Ron Raque; two brothers, John "Bud" and Edward Raque; sisters, Margaret Raque, Sr. Marie Agnes Raque and Catherine King.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jean (Sperzel) Raque; son, Jerry Raque, Jr. (Leigh); sisters, Mary Theresa Boone, Eva Gorter (Joe), and Rita Mueller (Bill); grandchildren, Gretchen, Chip, Sam, Christina, Daniel, Patrick, and Chelsea; three great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at St. Agnes Catholic Church; 1920 Newburg Road with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 – 8 p.m. Monday at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home; 3800 Bardstown Road.
