SMITH, Roy Lee, 56, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at his residence.
He was a former employee of General Electric, a member of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and a U. S. Coast Guard veteran.
Preceding him in death was his father, Emery R. Smith, Jr.
Survivors include his mother, Beulah Lee Smith; a sister, Alice Smith Weiger (Rodney); an aunt, Dorothy Parker; an uncle, Jack Black; a nephew, four nieces; eleven great nieces and nephews and his best friends, Steve Nix and Lynn Croslin.
His funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 Bardstown Road, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 – 8 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville in his memory.
