BEAUCHAMP, Velma Lee McGill, 78, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Christopher East Nursing Facility.
She was a Baptist by faith, a retired Licensed Practical Nurse for Owensboro Daviess County Hospital where she had 25 years of service, a member of the Kentucky Nurses Association and a Kentucky Colonel.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Robert P. and Ruth Jane McGill, her husband, Richard Neal Beauchamp, I, a son, Richard Neal Beauchamp, II and two brothers, Joe and Robert McGill.
Survivors include a son, J. Kelly Beauchamp, daughters, Patsy Beauchamp, Amanda Jo St. John (Richard), Joy McIntosh and Jennifer Martin (Christian); five grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a close friend, Kathleen Kaelin.
Her funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 Bardstown Road where visitation will be from 11 A.M. until noon. Burial will follow the service in Calvary Cemetery.
