Mr. Billy "Bill" Dean Epps, age 73, of Pascagoula, passed away at his home Saturday September 25, 2010. Mr. Epps was born November 16, 1936 in Knoxville, TN.

Bill was a resident of Pascagoula, MS for 38 years and the former owner of Bill's Upholstery. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Post # 160 and the VFW of Pascagoula. Mr. Epps was a loving father, worshipper, and member of Eastside Assembly of God Church. Bill had a true passion for fishing and auto racing. He has now left this earthly world to be with his Lord in Heaven.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Kyle Epps and Mamie Lee Walker Epps, his sisters Virginia Louise (Johnny) Epps Pride and Bobbie Jean Epps, his granddaughter Brandy Johnson, and great granddaughter Breanna Keele.

He is survived by his children; David (Cathy) Epps, Steve (Rhonda) Epps, Billy Epps, Mark (Debi) Epps, Glenda (Donald) Johnson, Mildred "Lee" Stone, Tonya (Eloy "Yogi") Ybarra, his stepchildren; Merle (Judie) Alexander, Dinia Alexander, George "Peanut" (Chantel) Alexander, Wanda King, Derwood (Denise) Alexander, Ricky (Beth) Alexander, and Wendy (Jay) Bouler. He is also survived by his 42 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, the mother of his children, Mary Louise Epps Hodge and his companion Bobbie F. Alexander. He will be truly missed by his special life long friends Larry and Wanda Crawford.

Visitation for Mr. Epps will be Tuesday September 28, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. in the parlor of Heritage Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 29 at 9:00 a.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Wendell Stork officiating.

Interment services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery with military rights being offered by the American Legion Post # 160 of Pascagoula. Serving as pallbearers will be Jeremy Dunbar, Jason Epps, David Epps Jr., Travis Epps, Richard "Buddha" Keele and Jeremy Whitford. His grandsons Colton Epps, Danny Ybarra and Keith Epps will serve as honorary pallbearers.
