Guestbook for Jack Arthuer STANZLER Showing 1 - 10 of 10 entries.

I worked with Dr. Stanzler from 1972 on at Flint Osteopathic Hospital. He was always such a compassionate physician who treated the nurses with respect.

The world has lost a great physician, educator, humanitarian and truly, someone who believed in working for social change.

Jack will never be replaced; one can only hope that his work will be carried out by the future generations who had the privilege of knowing him.

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.

I am so sorry for your loss.. my heart goes out to the family. I am sorry, although we were related, that I never got to meet him in person.

In the words of Eric Clapton:
Beyond the door ~ There's peace I'm sure.
And I know there'll be no more...
Tears in heaven

My heartfelt condolences to the family. Jack is an institution in Flint. Although I never had the pleasure of meeting him I read stories about him in the Flint Voice. He seemed like such a nice guy!

Dear Laurie,

I was so sorry to read of Jack's passing in the paper yesterday. Though my memories of Jack are mostly from the old NJA days, 20 years ago or more, they are still vivid. Jack was one of the warmest, nicest, and most principled guys you'd ever want to meet. I distinctly remember enjoying Erev Rosh Hashana dinner with you and Jack at your home back in 1987, and I'll always remember the warmth and hospitality you both showed that evening. Jack was a true mensch.

Please accept my sincerest condolences. I hope you can take comfort in the memories of the good life you and Jack had together.

Dear Laurie,

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on Jack's death. He was certainly a "mentch" in the true sense of the word. He had a sincere social conscience and worked hard to achieve "liberty and justice for all."

We certainly have many fond memories of him.
Again, our condolences to you and all of his family.

Sincerely,
Rhina and Gene Griffel

My deepest condolences to all Jack's family. He was kind, considerate, warm, committed to justice and always enthusiastic about life. I will miss running into him walking around downtown and reading the paper at Zingerman's. His passing is a loss not only to his family and friends, but to the entire community.
