Mary Kessler was born on August 16, 1916. We were happily anticipating her 1OOTH birthday but God decided that she was tired and took her to be with Him in heaven. She was a caring and loving mother and grandmother who was very talented in gardening, sewing, designing furniture for Dad to build and extremely creative in decorating her home. She led a long and fruitful life. She was predeceased by her husband Morris and son Donald. She is survived by two daughters-Sharon Kelly (Larry) of Texarkana, TX and Janet Christie (Tom) of Fairfield. She has nine grandchildren, Donny Kessler of Oxford, Craig Kessler of Round Rock TX, Erin Kelly of Chicago, IL, Shawn Kelly of Dallas, TX, Janet deJesus of Kensington MD, Colbert Christie, Logan Christie, Eliza Christie and Cassidy Christie, all of New York. She also has nine great grandchildren. Viewing will be on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12:30 p.m. at St Pius X Church, 834 Brookside Drive, Fairfield. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery. No flowers are necessary.
